ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
FLOW I EMPOWERMENT I SURRENDER
"The very heart of yoga practice is abhyasa - steady effort in the direction you want to go" - Sally Kempton

This workshop is designed for those who want to start practicing handstand without having previous experience, but also for those who are already comfortable with inversions but still rely on the wall for balance and support.
We’ll begin with a dynamic Vinyasa Flow to build the foundations needed for handstand practice: shoulder strength and mobility, core awareness, leg power, and hamstring flexibility. In the second part, we’ll dive into handstand-specific drills, including wrist and scapular warm-ups, core activation, and progressive wall and free-space exercises to safely approach handstand.
Guided by a yoga perspective, this workshop is not about achieving the perfect handstand, but about using the journey as a tool for conscious movement, self-discovery, presence, and inner awareness. When we let go of the idea that the goal is the shape itself, the practice becomes a mirror through which we observe our patterns, our inner-talk, and our relationship with challenge.
We’ll close with a nourishing cool-down, including deep stretching and relaxation, to integrate the work and leave you feeling grounded, open, and reconnected.
Whether you’re taking your first steps upside down or working toward more control, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to elevate your practice.
